While WBSD7 has conducted several "community" surveys this year for other purposes, such as assessing overall district communication and gathering feedback on potential school boundaries, this survey is specifically for parents of students enrolled in WBSD7 during the 2024-2025 school year. The questions focus on your experience within your student's specific school, ensuring a more targeted and relevant assessment.
Thank you for your participation.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to everyone who participated in the 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 following the release of yesterday's Fast Facts video (or prior). 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴.

We understand that this survey may require more time & focus to complete compared to others, as it involves reviewing the background information and definitions of the Guiding Principles, Boundary Criteria, and understanding the Draft Boundary Concept.
The complexity of the boundary process is why we have held 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, including the community meeting when this survey was launched. The Williston Basin School District #7 invites the community to celebrate the groundbreaking of its new elementary school on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The ceremony will take place in Williston Square at 1316 33rd St W.
Construction for the new elementary school will commence this fall, with the school slated to open its doors in August 2026. This project is made possible by the passing of the bond referendum in April 2024, a major milestone in addressing the district’s continued enrollment growth.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be held in partnership with JLG Architects, JE Dunn Construction, and the City of Williston.
For more information about the new elementary school project, visit: willistonschools.org/page/2024bondproject.
