This morning, the High School held the annual Step Up Ceremony. Seniors wear their caps and gowns to school and sit in their senior place one last time. The ceremony recognizes seniors' plans for after graduation, such as College, the Military, Workforce, or Trade Schools. Teachers and Staff of the year, voted on by the students last week in PACK, were awarded. The Teachers of the Year are Mrs. Otis, Mrs. Rooke, and Mr. Cowley. The Support Staff of the year are Mrs. Branham, Mr. Kennedy, and Marife Casarez. At the end of the Ceremony, the seniors leave the gym to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance. The rest of the grades move to their new spots around the gym, signifying their change into the Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores for the next school year!

We want to bring to your attention some recent concerns raised by members of our school community. The district has received several reports about unsafe driving practices during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times. These concerns include speeding in school zones, distracted driving, and double parking, all of which create potentially dangerous situations for our students, staff, and families. To help address these issues and ensure everyone’s safety, we ask for your cooperation with the following safety guidelines during drop-off and pick-up. Please visit our School Safety webpage at www.WillistonSchools.org/school-safety for more information.
